The Fourth Revolution

The Fourth Revolution
The Fourth Revolution is how we will be adapted and transferred to new things. During this revolution, we will be shown new technology and materials in school which will cause us to have a rethinking learning. During 2030, we will have active learning, fluency of learning, learning strategies, and originality. These will be new updates to the school system and how students will learn now, students will be easily adapted to the classroom environment cause they have grown through the generation. Here are some ideas on the Fourth Revolution

  • The technology will be easy for the students to use and learn because they were grown to it from a baby
  • Virtual reality, students will be able to use a bigger view of things
  • Touchscreen desks will be used in classrooms which will cause papers, pencils, books, and more to be used less often
  • School hours will be shorter cause the more use of technology will be faster

Taking Initiative

Initiative is when you will take charge for yourself and will help other with out asking.
Here are ways to show initiative in my class:

1: Read aloud to the class
2: Grade paper work for the teacher
3: Take students where they need to go (restroom, resource, nurse, office)
4: Ask if you can teach the class
5: If a student needs independent help, be sure to help them
6: Help clean up
7: Make up classwork
8: Teach for the class
9:Help with students who have a problem with other students
10:Help the sub in the class

Synonyms of Initiative:
-Charge
-Independent
-Ahead
-Plan
-Scheme

In my classroom I use initiative towards my students by helping them individually on their work. I use initiative towards my teacher by helping them read to class and ask the students questions. Its important to show initiative towards teachers, they will see that your interested in the work and very hands-on working.

Scenario Reaction

Scenario Reaction

Scenario 2:

You are at your EAT field site.  Although you know you are supposed to have your phone put away at your field site, you check it and see that you have a message from another intern in your class.  He said that he had an early dismissal and left the field site campus just a little early, but when he did, he forgot to sign out.  You think this is a bit strange because you never saw him ride the bus to your field site in the first place, but you agree to sign him in and out because you want to let him know he can trust you. After all, Mrs. Meddlesome, your EAT teacher, stressed that it is important to establish relationships with your students and others with whom you work.

Reaction:
I will text my EAT teacher and my BCTAL teacher about one of my group interns not being around the class that day and say what they told me. I will not take responsibility for their sign in time for in and out. I will keep a positive and honest relationship with my EAT teacher, BCTAL teacher, and group interns.

My Learning DNA

My learning DNA Intelligence highest terms are: Intrapersonal, Musical, Interpersonal, Bodily-Kinesthetic, and Linguistic
Multiple intelligence is based on how much a person carries for themselves. They describe how a person personality would be with other people. How much movement a person do and how they take in music. The quiz also represents a person logic.
Intrapersonal: People who are intrapersonal tend to be more to them-selves. They will find their way to solve problems themselves and are very intelligent. An activity to represent intrapersonal is they will study alone in a comfortable yet quiet environment.
Musical: Enjoy music, singing, dancing, and play instruments. They will enjoy music anytime all the time. An activity that shows musical use is they listen to music while you study to connect its patterns and sounds with the subject you are studying. Replay the same song before a test.
Interpersonal: Interpersonal people are more outgoing and talkative. They enjoy the center of attention and are easy to get along and talk to you. They have a good social interaction and understanding the people around you.
Bodily-Kinesthetic: Being bodily-kinesthetic is when you use movement for either self-expression or precision to achieve a goal. You enjoy doing hands-on models or in-practice examples.
Linguistic: Does well at school. Ability with the use of words for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They tend to ask questions.

Learning preference are how you prefer to learn in a class as a student. There is 5 different categories known as Environmental, Emotional, Sociological, Physical, Psychological. The environment will prefer on a student who likes sound, light, temperature, and design in a classroom. In the emotional category there are students motivated, persistence, responsible, and structured. A student who are sociological will depend on people they like to work with or themselves. Being physical will depend on a student if they are perceptual or if they intake during the day, time consuming, and mobility. The last category is psychological is either a student is global or analytic, hemisphericity, and impulsive or reflective.

There is two different parts of the brain and I am mostly the right side of the brain. Right brained people use skills like creativity, emotions, and sense. Right-brained people tend to be left handed, which i am. Being right-brained i notice that I pick parts to listen to from the main point, I am less detailed. I find it easier to learn from an illustration and use more creativity to help me than focusing. I go with an answer whether it is right, I will understand the meaning.

There is three different types of learning styles: Auditory, Visual, and Tactile. Auditory learners tend to depend on speaking and listening for their learning skill. Visual learners will find it easier for them to learn through pictures and videos rather then trying to listen and hear someone to speak to them. Tactile learners are more hands-on and will prefer to do activities and rather move around to learn. I noticed that I am a visual in a classroom. I prefer drawing pictures for a better understanding of what I am doing and where i'm going.
                        My Strengths:
My strengths are Futuristic, Empathy, Discipline, Harmony, and Includer. My strongest strength is futuristic, I look forward to my future and and I look forward to see everything "better". I have empathy, i care for the people around me and i will fit myself into their place. I am discipline and very organized, I am pristine and keep up with a routine. Having Harmony attends to me because I think it is important to see the areas of agreement. My circle of friends is wide because I am an includer and bring people together.
